Cathy is a friendly and highly skilled Clinical Psychologist who specialises in treating people affected by anxiety and depression using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She has over seven years experience as a Clinical Psychologist within the NHS before which she completed a PhD exploring psychological processes relating to psychosis at the Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College London. She has also completed a post graduate diploma in CBT at Kings College London and is fully accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
Cathy is a Chartered psychologist registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and regulated by the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC). She currently works at the Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma (CADAT) at the Maudsley Hospital where she provides specialist treatment to clients experiencing a range of different anxiety problems of varying severity including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Social Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Health Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD). She also regularly teaches and supervises other trainee psychologists and CBT therapists. She has a particular interest in psychological difficulties that may arise in the perinatal period (pregnancy and post birth) for both men and women and has previous experience of working both on a national specialist inpatient mother and baby unit and within a specialist perinatal community mental health team.

She is committed to delivering evidence-based treatments that are recommended by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE).
